A sculptural composition of sterling silver, framing two Namibian tourmalines, a shifting lagoon blue 1.96 ct stone and a vibrant green 0.75 ct stone. Sourced directly during a visit to a small-scale family-run mining claim in Usakos, in Namibia's Erongo Region, where they were cut by a member of the family. Set within handmade, eight-prong silver settings, the stones form a vertical dialogue of color and geometry against the organic movement of the surrounding metal.
The silver structure is created through free-casting into rice, where molten metal flows through the grains and solidifies into branching coral-like forms. The resulting structure embeds the stones within a landscape shaped by chance and intention, contrasting the precise geometry of the cut tourmalines with the spontaneous movement of cast silver.
